They All Quit

Tuesday the reference librarian quit. Wednesday the technical services librarian quit. Thursday, the student workers walked out. Friday the support staff quit. The director decided to throw-in the towel and quit, too. Saturday, they gathered at the front door of the library, ceremoniously boarding it up. Then, together, they enjoyed a picnic on the lawn, talking about their favorite books, authors and patrons.
